How we compare

For each port we include local companies that sell directly to cruise passengers and run the tour themselves. Resellers and booking sites are left out.

We record the lowest listed adult price, tour length, group size, minimum age, what is included, where the tour starts relative to the pier, the cancellation policy, and the operator's own wording on returning to the ship. If an operator doesn't state a return-to-ship policy, we say so instead of assuming one.

Tables are ordered by price. Nobody pays to be listed or to move up. Check dates are on every page, and the operator's site is always the final word on price and timing. Always compare tour times against your ship's all-aboard time.

Operators: if something on your listing is wrong or out of date, send us the correction.
